Dr. A. Venkata Vishnu is an accomplished academician and engineering professional with over 13+ years of progressive experience across academia, researchand industry. Holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and his academic interests span robotics, drone technologies, advanced manufacturing, automation and data-driven institutional development.
Throughout his academic career, Dr. Vishnu has demonstrated a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, research and academic leadership. His contributions led to significant improvements in student engagement, academic outcomesand institutional visibility. He also held key administrative positions including Head of Department, Controller of Examinations NAAC and NBA Coordinator.
Dr. Vishnu’s research output includes over 35 peer-reviewed journal publications and presentations at multiple international conferences. His academic impact is reflected in his Google Scholar citations (190+) and Scopus citations (35+). He actively serves as a reviewer for reputed international journals and is a member of several professional bodies including ISTE, IEI and IAENG.
In addition to his academic pursuits, Dr. Vishnu brings industry-aligned R&D expertise in robotics and drone-based systems. He has successfully led projects in automation and inspection systems for renewable energy infrastructures, including solar panel cleaning rovers, wind turbine internal inspection rover, grass cutting rover and drones for wind turbine and solar panel inspection. His technical skills span Python, C++, ROS, YOLOv5, AutoCAD and advanced analytics tools like Power BI and Minitab.
Dr. Vishnu has been at the forefront of enhancing academic quality and institutional benchmarking in ranking and accreditations for various HEIs.
A strong advocate for lifelong learning, innovation and collaborative growth, Dr. Vishnu continues to contribute to the higher education ecosystem through research and strategic advisory roles.
