Reflective Teaching Learning Workshop

The Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) conducted a workshop on Reflective Teaching–Learning for faculty members on 14 th March 2026. Facilitated by Dr. V. Aruna, Director – Academics & Planning, the workshop emphasized the importance of reflective practices and student-centered teaching methodologies.

The sessions introduced faculty to Kolb’s Experiential Learning Cycle and its application in designing effective classroom experiences. Through interactive worksheets and collaborative discussions, participants analyzed teaching scenarios and explored innovative ways to enhance engagement and conceptual understanding.

A key highlight of the workshop was the pair-based teaching demonstration, where faculty members designed and presented lesson plans incorporating experiential learning stages. This activity enabled participants to translate theory into practice and receive structured feedback.

The workshop saw enthusiastic participation from faculty across various disciplines, encouraging interdisciplinary learning and exchange of ideas. Feedback indicated that the workshop was insightful, practical, and highly relevant to modern teaching practices.
