Assistant Professor, Dept of Psychology
Ms. Sumedha Pawar is a psychologist and academician with over three years of teaching experience and four years of clinical practice. She holds an MSc in Clinical Psychology from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Family and Marriage Counselling.
At Aurora Higher Education and Research Academy, she facilitates undergraduate and postgraduate psychology courses and actively contributes to curriculum design and academic development. She has authored textbook chapters for the MA Psychology (Distance Mode) program at Osmania University and has submitted pedagogical suggestions to the NCERT Grade XII Psychology textbook, which were positively acknowledged by the NCERT Grievance Cell.
Her professional interests include positive psychology, narrative and humanistic approaches, and meaning-making in therapeutic and educational settings. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Clinical Psychology at MAHE.
