NEWS UPDATE
The School of Law, Aurora Higher Education and Research Academy, through its Legal Aid Cell, organized a Legal Awareness Camp at Government High School, Peerzadiguda, on 17th October 2025. The event aimed to promote legal literacy among school students and make them aware of their rights, duties, and responsibilities as citizens.
Around 200 students from classes 8 to 10 participated in the camp. Faculty members — Ms. P.B. Srivalli, Mr. Syed Mohd Mehndi, Mr. Kishor Biradar, and Ms. Priya Ranakoti — conducted informative and interactive sessions on Fundamental Rights and Duties, Cyber Safety, and Child Rights. The sessions helped students understand the importance of responsible citizenship, digital awareness, and the legal protection available to children.
Paralegal student volunteers — Amena Bibi, J. Vivek, Choudhary Tejaswini, Varsharani Bhati, and K. Prashanth Goud — further engaged students in an interactive Q&A activity, addressing real-life legal issues and guiding them on how to seek help through proper channels such as the Child Helpline (1098).
The event concluded with appreciation from the school faculty for this valuable initiative. Prof. Kishor Biradar coordinated the program under the guidance of Dr. A. Md. Samiulla, Dean, School of Law. The camp successfully fostered legal awareness, civic responsibility, and community engagement among young learners.
