Dr. Rakesh Sivalingam is an accomplished academic, researcher, and educator in the field of Computer Science and Engineering, with specialized expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Cybersecurity, and Digital Forensics. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from PRIST Deemed to be University, Tamil Nadu.
Dr. Rakesh has authored several SCOPUS-indexed research publications, with notable contributions in AI-driven applications, data security frameworks, and intelligent systems for agriculture and safety solutions. His academic career spans teaching, mentoring, and research roles across India, Myanmar, and the Maldives, where he is recognized for adopting modern, student-centric pedagogical practices.
He has actively enhanced his professional competencies through reputed platforms such as NPTEL, EC-Council (CODE-RED), OPSWAT, Oracle, and LinkedIn Learning, earning certifications in advanced cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection, and enterprise systems.
Internationally, Dr. Rakesh Sivalingam is associated with the University of San Diego, California, USA, serving as a Visiting Faculty for Cyber Engineering Research and Cybersecurity-related courses. He also acts as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for prestigious national-level initiatives such as Smart India Hackathon (SIH) and KAVACH Hackathon, where he has successfully trained and mentored students for competitive innovation and research excellence.
