Aurora University celebrated National Science Day on February 28, 2024, in honor of Sir C.V. Raman's discovery of the Raman Effect. Organized by the Departments of Chemistry and Physics and led by Dr. Ganesh Gollavelli and Dr. Rakesh Chandra, the event focused on "Indigenous Science and Technologies for Vikasit Bharat."

Key highlights included a keynote by Prof. Dr. S. Satyanarayana, former Vice-Chancellor of Osmania University and RGUKT, Basar, emphasizing the importance of indigenous technologies. The event aimed to promote science awareness, inspire scientific careers, and recognize contributions, featuring exhibitions, panel discussions, and research presentations that fostered interdisciplinary collaboration.

Students actively participated by exhibiting their projects, showcasing innovative ideas and indigenous technologies. National Science Day at Aurora University was a resounding success, igniting enthusiasm for science and innovation among students and faculty while highlighting the significance of indigenous knowledge in shaping India's scientific future.
